Grants to Benefit Cancer Victims or Their Families in California

The deadline for grant applications was April 4, 2006.   Applications are no longer being accepted.

The California Attorney General solicited applications from nonprofit organizations and public agencies for grants to benefit cancer victims or their families in California. Because of the nature of the settlement funds, grants were made on a one-time basis for specific projects and not general operating support. Funding was not available for conducting scientific, medical, clinical or academic research. Grants ranged in size from $75,000 to $150,000 and will be for a maximum of one year.
